I previously posted part 1 of My Favorite Fantasy Quotes in which I shared some of my favorite lines from fantasy books I've read. Below I've listed more great lines I've read and saved over the years. Some of them are words of wisdom and some just give me chills every time I read them. As always, leave me some of your favorite quotes in the comments below!
“A Dark time comes. My time. If it offends you. Stop Me.”
― Mark Lawrence, King of Thorns
“Pick your enemies more carefully then your friends, they will be with you longer.”
― Joe Abercrombie, Half a King
“But people are still people, however comfortable their surroundings. They lie, they feud, they betray and however much you give them, they always want more.”
― Anthony Ryan, Queen of Fire
“You have to be a bit of a liar to tell a story the right way.”
― Patrick Rothfuss, The Name of the Wind
“Legends are best left as legends and attempts to make them real are rarely successful”
― Michael Moorcock, Elric of Melniboné
“There's a slope down toward evil, a gentle gradient that can be ignored at each step, unfelt. It's not until you look back, see the distant heights where you once lived, that you understand your journey.”
― Mark Lawrence, Emperor of Thorns
“I guess I suffer from an impoverishment of the sociopathic spirit necessary to go big time.”
― Glen Cook, Shadow Games
“Two there shall be; no more, no less. One to embody the dark side, the other to crave it.”
― Drew Karpyshyn, Path of Destruction
Thanks for reading! I love good lines in the books I read. I often highlight them on my Kindle or write them down for later. What are some of your favorites?

Oh that's a good one! I've read the first two First Law books and I really enjoyed them. Gotta get to that last one to see how it all comes together!
